We are a Kindergarten through 6th grade school with a student enrollment of around 30 students. We teach every content area in accordance with Common Core standards in an integrated approach to best support our native English speakers and our English learners. This means students have multiple opportunities to master new concepts because they get exposure through more than one subject of study. We also have a strong science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) focus that allows students to have more opportunities for hands-on learning and making meaning!

Highly Capable Program
Roosevelt School District works hard to ensure equal learning opportunities for students at all levels. In accordance with Chapter 392-170 WAC we have procedures to identify students for this program.
To qualify for placement into the program, a variety of measures are used, including Smarter Balance Assessment in addition to district and classroom assessments. The Roosevelt School District Superintendent oversees the Highly Capable Program. Please contact the school if you have questions regarding the placement of your child.
